I went in to the facility on Alexander in Baytown Texas to speak with the manager. Faith was so upbeat and friendly. She didn’t hesitate to help me out. She got right on it and found me a unit, at another facility, with street access, roll up door, good price and the right size. She reserved the unit and even provided me with the correct lock needed. She was losing a customer but treated me like I was a long time tenant. Faith was great to deal with and had great customer. I would use Storage King self storage again because of Faith. Renting a storage unit has never been easier! The online process was very user friendly. However, it wasn't as friendly as Faith! Faith was so professional and she made me feel like she really cared about our business. Faith took her time explaining the facility and storage procedures. She took us on a tour of the facility and showed us how to operate the freight elevators, the bay doors etc. The storage unit was for my sister and she was afraid she wouldn't remember the process to access her unit. My sister asked Faith if she could write down all the steps to get to her storage unit, her code etc. Faith took the time to type up step by step directions for my sister and print it out. She was so kind. I would recommend Storage King on the basis of Faith's personalized service alone. The facility was very clean and I liked that there were plenty of carts available and the two bay doors made our unit easy to access.

I was given instructions on how to complete the process and what I needed to do to gain access to the unit immediately. I was given a personal walk-thru and shown where my unit was located. I was given thorough details on how to access unit via the loading/unloading dock and the tenant door, and given pertinent information regarding special instruction in conjunction to where my unit was located. The property agent was very friendly and personable, all while being very professional. I look forward to the remainder of the relationship to be as pleasurable.

We moved from Tennessee to Texas and needed a large storage unit and a secure place for our 3rd car while we lived in temporary housing. We ended up adding a second storage unit. I was there one day to see the bug man spraying, and we never saw evidence of bugs. We also noticed the many rodent traps, and saw no evidence of any activity. The facility felt secure. They obviously routinely inspect the premises as they contacted me within 2 days of me moving my car, and the same period for notifying me when I incorrectly locked one of the storage units. A very well managed operation!

Faith, the property manager, was fantastic and made my initial experience extremely smooth. The amount of information she was able to give me off the top of her head during the sign-up process was impressive, to say the least. She knows her stuff, and the fact that the indoor, climate controlled access hours don't change on holidays is very convenient. So far based on my experience there are only two possible reasons a person wouldn't want a unit here; someone that wants 24 hour access (not an issue for me), or someone that wants to be able to drive up directly to their unit (also not an issue for me, they provide large dolly's to make transporting belongings convenient).

The interior is clean and the ac is pumping. Most of the carts/dollies I used rolled really well. They have a double door entry system that will not allow you to enter if the other door is open. Which is somewhat cool and somewhat very annoying. All in all it seems like a great storage space. Caveat: I havent done business here.
